How to Delete Photos from iCloud but Keep Them on Your iPhone

It can be frustrating when you have too many photos and videos saved on your iCloud account and you don’t want to lose them, but you need to free up some storage space. Step 1: Open the Photos App

You should see the Recently Deleted folder.

Step 8: Restore the Photos to Your iPhone
If you want to keep the photos on your iPhone, you will need to restore them from the Recently Deleted folder. To do this, tap the “Restore” button at the bottom of the screen. This will restore the photos to your iPhone, but not your iCloud account.

Step 9: Delete the Photos from Your iPhone
If you don’t want to keep the photos on your iPhone, you can delete them from the Recently Deleted folder. To do this, tap the photos you want to delete and then tap the trash can icon at the bottom of the screen. This will delete them from your iPhone, but not your iCloud account.
