How to Mass Delete Contacts from Your iPhone at Once

Deleting contacts from your iPhone can be a tedious process, especially if you have hundreds or even thousands of contacts. Fortunately, there are ways to delete multiple contacts from your iPhone at once, making it much easier to get rid of contacts you no longer need.

1. Export Your Contacts

The first step is to export your contacts. This will allow you to make a backup of your contacts before deleting them, just in case you need to restore them later. You can export your contacts from the Contacts app on your iPhone. To do this, open the Contacts app and tap on the “Groups” tab at the bottom. Then, tap on “All Contacts”, and select “Share Contact” from the menu. You can then select how you want to share the contacts, such as via email, and follow the instructions to export them.

2. Delete All Contacts from iPhone

Once you have exported your contacts, you can then delete them from your iPhone. To do this, open the Contacts app and tap the “Groups” tab at the bottom. Then, tap on “All Contacts”, and select “Edit” from the menu. You will then see a list of all your contacts. Tap the “Delete All” button at the bottom of the list to delete all your contacts at once.

3. Import Contacts Back to iPhone

Once you have deleted all your contacts, you can then import them back to your iPhone. To do this, open the Contacts app and tap on the “Groups” tab at the bottom. Then, tap on “Import Contacts”, and select the file from which you want to import your contacts. Follow the instructions to import the contacts back to your iPhone.

4. Delete Contacts from iCloud

Once you have imported your contacts back to your iPhone, you can then delete them from your iCloud account. To do this, open the Settings app and tap on your name at the top. Then, tap on “iCloud”, and scroll down to “Contacts”. Tap on the toggle switch next to “Contacts” to turn it off. This will delete all your contacts from your iCloud account.

5. Delete Contacts from Google

If you have your contacts synced with Google, you will then need to delete them from your Google account. To do this, open your browser and go to google.com. Log in to your Google account, and go to “Contacts”. You will then see a list of all your contacts. Select all the contacts you want to delete, and then click on the “Delete” button at the top. This will delete all the contacts you selected at once.

6. Clean Up Your Address Book

Once you have deleted all your contacts from your iPhone, iCloud, and Google, you can then use a third-party app to clean up your address book. There are many apps available that can help you delete old or duplicate contacts, or merge duplicate contacts. These apps can make it much easier to manage your contacts and keep your address book organized.

By following the steps above, you can mass delete contacts from your iPhone at once. This can save you time and make it much easier to manage your contacts. Remember to always make a backup of your contacts before deleting them, just in case you need to restore them later.
