How to Send a Group Text on iPhone Without Everyone Replying

Group texting is a great way to stay in touch with friends and family, but it can also be a source of frustration. When you send a group text, the replies come back from everyone in the group, which can quickly become overwhelming. If you’re an iPhone user, you’re in luck. Apple’s Messages app has a few ways to help you manage group texts so you don’t get buried in replies. Here’s how to send a group text on iPhone without everyone replying.

Step 1: Create a Group

The first step is to create a group in the Messages app. To do this, open the Messages app and tap the compose icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Then, enter the names or phone numbers of the people you want to include in the group and tap “Create”. You’ll be taken to a new conversation with the people in the group.

Step 2: Turn Off Group Texting

Once you have the group created, you need to turn off group texting. To do this, tap the “i” icon in the top right corner of the conversation. On the next screen, you’ll see the option to “Mute” or “Leave this Conversation”. Tap “Mute” and then select “Never” from the list of options. This will turn off group texting for everyone in the conversation.

Step 3: Send Your Text

Now that group texting is turned off, you’re ready to send your text. Tap the compose icon in the upper right corner of the screen and enter your message. Then, tap the send button to send the message to everyone in the group.

Step 4: Turn Group Texting Back On

Once you’ve sent your text, you’ll want to turn group texting back on. To do this, tap the “i” icon in the top right corner of the conversation and select “Mute” again. Then, select “Always” from the list of options. This will turn group texting back on for everyone in the conversation.

Step 5: Respond to Replies Individually

If you do get replies, you’ll want to respond to them individually. This way, you won’t get bombarded by replies from everyone in the group. To do this, tap the reply icon next to the message you want to respond to. Then, enter your response and tap the send button to send it to just that person.

Sending a group text on iPhone without everyone replying is a great way to stay in touch with friends and family without getting overwhelmed. By creating a group, turning off group texting, sending your text, turning group texting back on, and responding to replies individually, you can make sure that your group texts don’t take over your Messages app.
