How to View Photo Information on an iPhone

Viewing the photo information for your pictures on an iPhone is easy! All it takes is a few taps and you can see the details of your photos right on your phone.

How to View Photo Information on an iPhone

Step 1: Open the Photos App on Your iPhone

The Photos app on your iPhone allows you to view photo information, including the date and time the photo was taken, the camera used to take the photo, and any other details related to the photo. To get started, open the Photos app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Select the Photo You Want to View

Once the Photos app is open, select the photo you want to view. You can browse through your photos by date, album, or location. When you find the photo you want to view, tap on it to select it.

Step 3: Tap the “i” Icon

Once you have selected the photo, tap the “i” icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This will open up the photo information page for the selected photo.

Step 4: View the Photo Information

On the photo information page, you will be able to see the date and time the photo was taken, the camera used to take the photo, the shutter speed, the ISO, the focal length, and any other details related to the photo. You can also view any comments or notes you have added to the photo, as well as any tags or keywords associated with the photo.

Step 5: Edit the Photo Information

If you want to edit the photo information, tap the “Edit” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This will allow you to edit the date and time the photo was taken, the camera used to take the photo, and any other details related to the photo. When you are done editing the photo information, tap the “Done” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 6: Share the Photo

If you want to share the photo, tap the “Share” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This will open up the share sheet, which allows you to quickly and easily share the photo with your contacts via text message, email, or social media.

Step 7: Exit the Photo Information Page

When you are done viewing or editing the photo information, tap the “Done” button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. This will take you back to the Photos app, where you can continue to browse through your photos.

Viewing photo information on an iPhone is a simple process. With just a few taps, you can access the photo information page and view the date and time the photo was taken, the camera used to take the photo, and any other details related to the photo. You can also edit the photo information, as well as share the photo with your contacts.
